Many BJP Members Will Resign From Party: Bachu Marak Tura

  • Bachu Marak, who resigned as the North Garo Hills district BJP president, claimed on Tuesday that many of his supporters will resign from the party.
  • Marak said that at least 4,000 members of BJP would resign from the party’s membership.
  • Marak resigned on Monday following the Centre’s ban on cattle sales for slaughter. West Garo Hills district President Bernard Marak made an exit from BJP four days earlier on the same issue.
