  • The investigative agency had also asked for a polygraph test for arms dealer Abhishek Verma who had allegedly claimed that Tytler had tried to influence a witness.
  • The pogrom that followed the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in October 1984 led to the killing of nearly 3,000 Sikhs.
