A suspected ISIS agent was arrested and taken to custody on Monday from Bhopal, according to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Azhar Iqbal, a 24-year-old was residing in Bhopal at the time of his arrest and is being examined for his role in terrorist activities.
NIA arrested Iqbal with the help of local police. This is part of the agency’s crackdown on ISIS sympathisers.
