Mamta Kulkarni Named as an Accused in Drug Racket Bust

A request for a Red Corner Notice against Mamta will soon be sent to Interpol, revealed Thane Police.

• Thane Police on Saturday revealed that actress Mamta Kulkarni’s name has been added to the charge sheet for an ongoing investigation into a drug racket case. Mamta Kulkarni’s husband, Vicky Goswami, is already an accused in connection with Rs 2,000-crore drug racket, which the police busted last month.
  

• Mamta Kulkarni’s bank accounts and investments are being verified and a request for Red Corner Notice against her will soon be sent to Interpol through the CBI, revealed Thane Police.
  

• Talking to India Today, Thane Police has claimed that Mamta Kulkarni met with Doctor Abdullah and two of his associates in Kenya, where they decided on “the amount of drugs that would be brought into Kenya, and where and how it will be sold in International markets”. However, Mamta Kulkarni and her husband, Vicky Goswami have rubbished these charges.
