The winter session of Delhi Assembly is set to begin on Wednesday
for which the state government has lined up six bills. The BJP, which is in the opposition in the state, said it
will try to corner the ruling AAP over various issues, including
the demand for introduction of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
The second session of the Sixth Legislative Assembly, which starts at 2 PM, will continue till November 28.
Six bills, including Code of Criminal Procedure Amendment Bill, Delhi School Education Amendment Bill and Minimum Wages Amendment Bill will be introduced.
These bills have been approved by the Delhi Cabinet.
Meanwhile, Delhi Congress, under the leadership of Ajay Maken, will hold a demonstration in front of Vidhan Sabha on the first day of the session to protest the “AAP government’s failure” to bring the Jan Lokpal Bill.
