CBI Case Against Chhota Rajan for Obtaining Fake Passport, Docus

The CBI has registered a case against Chhota Rajan for obtaining a fake passport and forged travel documents.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against underworld don Chhota Rajan aka Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje, and unknown public servants under the Passports Act, 1967 and the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

The CBI alleged that Rajan got an Indian Passport, passport no. G9273860, prepared in the fake name of Mohan Kumar, allegedly residing at 107/B, Old MC Road, Azad Nagar, Mandya (Karnataka).

The CBI also said that Rajan reached Australia on 22.09.2003 using the said passport & a tourist visa. He fraudulently obtained several visas since then and continued to stay there till 25.10.2015.

Rajan, who is currently at an undisclosed location, will continue to stay in CBI custody for 10 days where he is likely to be questioned by investigation teams.
