  • Around 1,000 aspiring teachers have been duped by a gang which organised a fake examination in Bengaluru on Sunday. The gang is suspected to be part of a nationwide racket.

  • Police confirmed that the S Radhakrishnan All India Teachers’ Examination was concocted by a gang and advertised under a fake National Professional Testing Bureau.

  • South Bengaluru DCP Lokesh Kumar said fraudsters took small sums of money from people. In all, about Rs 16 lakh was taken.
