Army Major Dies in Firing Accident in Pokhran, Rajasthan

Major Dhruv Yadav was killed in a firing accident in the Pokhran firing range in Rajasthan.

Army Major Dhruv Yadav (32) died in a firing accident in Rajasthan on Tuesday night, Defence Spokesperson Lt Col Manish Ojha said.

Major Dhruv Yadav belonged to the Armoured Unit which was engaged in a routine training exercise near Pokhran in Jaisalmer district for the past few days, Defence Spokesperson (Rajasthan) Lt Col Manish Ojha said.

An inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

Yadav, who was from Gurgaon in Haryana, is survived by his wife.
