India’s star batsman, Virat Kohli may not have made any significant contribution to India’s dramatic win over Bangladesh in the World T20 at Bengaluru on Wednesday but the vice-captain reminded fans that ‘Team India’ is more important than him.
While Virat was fielding on the boundary, fans in the stands were chanting his name. Kohli turned back and asked the fans to cheer for India instead.
One Kohli fan uploaded the video on Twitter after the match. Looks like the Indian Test captain is a firm believer in football legend Tony Adams’ words.
