The Internet never ceases to amaze. On Monday, Instagram user Hunter Culverhouse shared this image of her legs.
By Wednesday the image had been taken down, but the two days that the image was left up was enough to get a lot of people very confused. This is what Twitter had to say:
Luckily, netizens soon caught on. The white-paint-twist entered the narrative.
Turns out, the ‘shine’ was created by streaks of white paint on her legs, and a lot of people wished they hadn’t learnt the truth.
Talking to Buzzfeed, this is what Culver had to say about the viral picture:
I was finishing off some art homework and had some white paint left on my brush and just decided to draw random lines, I had no intentions of making it look shiny.
