With the first Sunday of August upon us, it is likely that most of us woke up to a barrage of heartwarming messages on social media, with our friends reminding us how much we mean to them. Former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the recipient of one such friendship day message, from none other than his old friend Virender Sehwag.
Also a former Team India captain, Sehwag shared a photograph with Dhoni on Instagram on Friendship Day, which garnered over 74,000 likes.
The picture is an old one from the time the two former cricket captains used to play together. Both the cricketing legends have been a part of the teams which led India to victory in the World T20 and 2011 ICC ODI World Cup.
