Bengaluru traffic police sub-inspector ML Nijalingappa had social media showering accolades on him on Saturday. Everybody praised Nijalingappa for making a humanitarian judgement call while doing his duty.
While on duty on Saturday, Nikalingappa let an ambulance pass during a convoy movement of President Pranab Mukherjee.
The Bengaluru cop reportedly spotted the ambulance trying to make its way to a hospital while the President’s convoy was on the road. He immediately took a call and supervised a smooth ride for the ambulance.
The President was in the city to inaugurate the Bengaluru Metro’s Green Line.
Words of well-deserved appreciation started pouring in soon after.
