At a time when the world is reeling under the sheer number of hate crimes that are taking place, that are causing increasing resentment between communities, a picture of communal harmony has gone viral, bringing hope for a more peaceful future.

The picture in question is that of a group of Sikh men serving ‘Rooh Afza’ milk to fasting Muslims during Ramzan in Peshawar. The picture went viral on social media, as many wanted to highlight a lesser-known side to Peshawar, which has borne the brunt of terror strikes for years.
