Mumbai resident Monica Nath put up a Facebook post on Thursday with images of a baby boy she chanced upon while travelling from Vashi to CST. She mentions in the post that she found a woman hiding the kid. On being asked, she seemed to know nothing about the baby. Following this, incidents took a bizarre turn and the woman handed her the baby.
Nath was informed after a police investigation that the baby was indeed stolen and the woman with the baby had no idea where he’d been abducted from.
Nath put out images of the baby boy on social media hoping that her post would reach enough people to spread the word around and find the baby’s parents.
