Singapore is clearly showing some love to its Indian community and India with special trains that have been decked up for Diwali. The train was launched on 16 October at Singapore’s Little India.
Featuring all the vivid colours, rangolis and flowers, the train is set to be a hit with the Indians and Singporeans alike.
Even the way to get to the train has been done up with diyas, peacocks and lotus flower decals.
The themed train was launched by Minister for Transport, Khaw Boon Wan, and will run on the North East Line (NEL) till mid-November!
Should Indian trains also deck up for the festivals, following this example?
