Our current chairperson of the CBFC, Pahlaj Nihalani, has an issue with the movie Lipstick Under my Burkha, supposedly because it was so “lady-oriented” and the plot had everything “sexual” and was full of “audio pornography.” But hello Mr Nihlani, we have something for you. This video by AIB is just another one to make you cringe at all things lady.
In India, where women are either portrayed as goddesses or like objects subservient to men, there is very little space for realistic women who have desires.
