The two-part sequel of the theatre version of Harry Potter, that starts 19 years after the final chapter in the franchise finale Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, opened to a packed audience on Tuesday in London’s West End. The audience witnessed a short preview to the first part and were left spell-bound. The full play will be performed on 31 July.
In a video message, Rowling implored theatre-goers to keep the play’s secrets: “Let audiences enjoy Cursed Child with all the surprises that we’ve built into the story.”
The much anticipated preview was performed at West End, London on Tuesday to a packed hall. It got rave reviews – many described the play as “magical” and “spell binding” on Twitter.
