“Why should students and their parents suffer for CBSE’s mistakes?”
A question an angry father asked on the behalf of his child, who had appeared for the CBSE Board Exams, and now has to take a retest.
Several fellow parents who shared his sentiments responded to the video – some angry, some confused, and some seeking a rational solution to the situation.
‘Real Issues Don’t Get Attention In India’
There were many who, while appreciating the father’s courage to raise his voice, pointed out how sadly the authorities have turned a deaf ear to real problems in the country.
‘Need More Transparency in This Country’
In India and in the world there are two types of groups one corrupt and the other honest. In rich as well as poor people one can find criminal blood but its all got to do with the mentality of the people. To let and let go criminals instead of arresting them with non-bail penalty target them with life imprisonment and hang them to death. Pass the Lokpal bill and sack them immediately all the corrupt officials and those who don’t know to do the job as well as those who don’t do the job... Lazy and incompetent people incapable of doing the job must be thrown into prison.Darryl Fernandes, Parent
‘Let’s Not Harm The Kids Further’
There were many believed that getting angry, and seeking an inquiry will only delay the exams, and subsequently the final results, which would further damage the children’s prospects in future.
Are you a parent of a kid who has to take the retest? Do you think the authorities should be pressed for action on the matter, or do you believe that pushing for investigation will only harm the kids? Let us know in the comments below.
