While Deepika’s outfit was the one that created the most buzz, Cannes this year witnessed several Bollywood celebrities at their glamorous best.

Like every year, the Indian Queen of Cannes, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, looked gorgeous. For her first appearance, the actress channeled her inner butterfly in a gorgeous Michael Cinco gown, and left the world stunned.

For her second appearance, Rai wore a Rami Kadi Couture gown and looked like a real-life fairy.

The cutest part of her Cannes visit however, were her adorable moments with daughter Aaradhya.

The Cannes Film Festival is often regarded as the world’s biggest and most prestigious film festival. With an extremely selective screening process, only very few movies from across the world are chose to be showcased at the glitzy setting. Amongst the movies screened, few go on to receive the prestigious award ‘Palme d'Or’ which translates to ‘golden palm’. Richa Chadda and Vicky Kaushal’s Masaan won the international critics’ choice award, the Prix de l'Avenir, at the festival in 2015.
