Delhi, get set for the most boozy week you’ve ever had. Join in the Delhi Cocktail Week celebrations and you’ll soon forget all your woes. A first on its kind endeavour, DCW has bars all over the city whipping up special cocktails at super special prices from December 12 to December 19.

Global Bar Pop Up
To get a real taste of international mixes at a local bar, make sure you’re at this pop up. Guest bartenders from some of the best bars in the world – including 28 Hong Kong Street Singapore, Employees Only New York, Quinary Hong Kong and The Pharmacy Belgium – will showcase signature cocktails from their home bars. Expect between three to five cocktails from each of the seven visiting bartenders.
Since the ingredients for the cocktails are being arranged especially for the pop up, the event is limited to those with wristbands. So make sure you have one because this one will definitely be one for the books.

Beer Masterclass
Now that Delhi has approved its microbrewery licenses, it’s time to really know your brew. Stay ahead of the curve by attending this Beer101 workshop conducted by * drumroll * ME! You’ll be surprised how much there is to know about this favourite drink, and how little of what you hear about it is true. I promise to keep this fun, fresh, and frothy over many pints of beer and I’ll bust some beer myths along the way. You’ll definitely leave knowing your lagers from your ales and much more.

The Most Innovative Bartender Competition
If you want to show off your bartending skills, try your hand at this competition. It’s not limited to professional bartenders and it’s a free for all as long as you whip up a worthy drink. The rules of the cocktail challenge are on the site, so make sure you check them out before you head out!
If you’re the type who likes to sit back and cheer, there’s room for that too. Besides, I can’t think of many better ways to spend an afternoon than learning some nifty bar tricks and stealing a few sips.

Multisensory Mixology
If you fancy yourself a connoisseur rather than a guzzler, let award-winning mixologist Antonio Lai take you on a drinking experience that engages all your senses. This promises to be a session where classics take on a new twist and bartending goes beyond the confines of the bar. Lai is the owner of Quinary in Hong Kong, one of the World’s 50 Best Bars for the third year in a row. He will showcase some of his signature and best selling cocktails with tasting samples.
