Although at times, the bohemian flare of the tops was replaced by the rigidity of fitted jackets and cigarette pants.

Tarun Tahiliani did pay an ode to courtesans through his collection, The Last Dance of the Courtesans.

There was an elaborate dance (mujra) happening throughout the show; that along with the traditional beats and the scent of jasmine eased the audience to soak in a night of fervor, with the last dance of the courtesans.
