SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali has been breaking box office records across the country. And now, it’s found a place in the Guiness World Records by creating the world’s largest poster, covering 4,793.65 m² (51,598.21 ft²). The feat has been officially recognised, and the Kochi based Global United Media Company Pvt Ltd is beaming with pride.

The film’s Malayalam partners shared a behind the scenes video, showing how this extraordinary task was achieved. Check it out-

A team of 30 members worked round the clock for three days to complete the poster. Global United Media, the company that distributed Baahubali in Kerala, was behind the idea of creating the poster, which was reportedly designed by Rajamouli himself.

According to the Guinness website, the poster sized 51,598.21 square feet has surpassed the previous record of 50687.25 square feet.

You don’t get to do things like these every day and a big thank you to the entire team to make this wonderful event happen. – Prem Menon (M.D. Global United Media, told IANS)

Director SS Rajamouli shared the happy news via Twitter.

The multi-lingual two-part epic is being pitched as the most expensive film ever to be made in India, with a budget of almost Rs 250 Crore. Baahubali also made a massive opening on July 10th, by collecting Rs 50 Crore on its release day itself!

Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah Bhatia, it was presented in Hindi by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar.
