When Bollywood A-listers aren’t acting, promoting or endorsing films, they are busy playing their favourite sport. And playing a sport doesn’t come cheap because Bollywood believes in nothing less than buying a whole team! Check out these celebs cheering and promoting their teams!
1. SRK wala KRK
When the Kolkata Knight Riders take over the IPL pitch, all eyes turn towards the VVIP stand, where SRK always stands cheering his team with his family and friends.
And soon after the match, social media starts buzzing with pictures of SRK and his little one, AbRam. So who is the man of the match?
2. Jodiya Ek Nahi Do
Abhishek Bachchan is always a step ahead of everyone else. He has his hand dipped in not one but two pies, I mean two teams. He is the owner of Jaipur Pink Panthers a Kabaddi team and also Chennaiyan FC, a football team.
And when wifey Aishwarya Rai joins the sporty madness, the cheers are even louder!
Not sure about where his acting career is going, but junior Bachchan surely seems to be doing well in sports.
3. And its a Goal!
Ask anyone in Juhu they will tell you how good Ranbir Kapoor is at football. Of course, he doesn’t just own a team but is also a great player. Ranbir owns the Mumbai City Football Club.
Don’t be surprised if you see him on the field but don’t recognise him at first glance, in a jersey!
4. The Royals are Here
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra along with Sanjay Dutt are the founders of the Super Fight League (SFL), a platform to boost wrestling as a sport in India.
Not sure where SFL is going but Kundra and Shetty’s IPL team Rajasthan Royals is certainly kicking some major ass.
5. Pretty Preity
This Punjabi kudi jointly owns the Kings XI Punjab IPL team with Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman and Karan Paul.
Even after going through a rough patch with her ex Ness Wadia, she continues to stand by her team. Preity is loud and animated when it comes to cheering for her team!
