Is Kapil Sharma having a cold war with Navjot Singh Sidhu and is that why Archana Puran Singh is replacing him on The Kapil Sharma Show? Apparently, no.
There were rumours about a tiff between Kapil and Sidhu and that the former cricketer was irked by the stand-up comedian’s behaviour which led to the fall out. Following this, Sidhu apparently refused to turn up for shoots of their TV show, which then prompted Kapil to replace him with Archana Puran Singh.
However, Kapil Sharma has refuted all such reports. According to a report in Mid-Day, Kapil has clearly stated that there is “no truth to this news”, the comedian goes on to mention that Sidhu has been replaced in a few episodes of his show before as well, “Sidhu sir was not there even when Jackie Chan came, we called Raveenaji for the episode,” he reminds us.
While stating that the news of a fall out with Sidhu was absolutely false, Kapil Sharma also admitted that he hasn’t spoken to Sidhu about the news that has been going around. The comedian reiterates that he could never ever think about replacing Sidhu because, “I feel he is lucky for me”.
Let’s hope Sidhu feels the same about Kapil too.
