Quantico episode 21 is called Right and it has proved that our gut instinct had been right throughout. “The voice” has finally been revealed and it isn’t Drew. He turned out to be just another red herring, after all.

But we aren’t surprised. Drew was hardly present through the series and isn’t really a character we are deeply invested in.

This newest instalment starts off from where we left – with Alex driving around in Ryan’s truck with the nuclear bomb strapped to the passenger seat. The makers of the show – fully aware of how the finale is around the corner – seem to have commanded all hands to be on board.

All forgotten NAT’s make their presence felt. Caleb, who just a couple of episodes ago was battling drug abuse, is now with the FBI. Also, for company, there is Shelby and even Simon catwalks in! All in all, the pace is frantic and the resolves to tie up loose ends unhindered.

The flashbacks reveal some more relevant information. Alex is trying to sniff out as much information as she can about her dad’s time at the FBI and Shelby forges a fake immunity offer to prosecute her parents and bring them to justice.

The dark side about working for the FBI is brought forth particularly with the way details about Liam’s role in the Omaha building bombings and Chicago mess come up.

*spoiler alert*

The Voice isn’t Drew…who knew….? Guess everyone! Liam is supposed to be the sinister brain behind the terror plot and looking back, this seems to be predictable too. He always came across as the least worthy of characters and now that we know how because of him Alex’s dad and Ryan have had to face terrible consequences. Things finally do fall into place.

Final Verdict

Of course, Episode 21 is supremely watchable. Masterfully paced and loaded with action, make sure you give it your undivided attention which it deserves. Who ‘The Voice’ is we may finally know, but is he working alone or are others from within the FBI also part of this terror group? We can’t wait to catch the season finale next week.
