Like many Americans, George RR Martin wishes Tuesday night had gone differently. The Game of Thrones creator took to his website with a bleak outlook after Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton to become the 45th President of the United States.

The 68 year old author also wrote in his post titled ‘President P**ygrabber’ that Trump was the least deserving candidate for the win and predicted that things are going to get much worse for America and the world.

Trump was the least qualified candidate ever nominated by a major party for the presidency. Come January, he will become the worst president in American history, and a dangerously unstable player on the world stage. And the decimated Democrats, a minority in both House and Senate, do not have the power to hinder him.George RR Martin
George RR Martin concluded by saying that he warned us all along, ‘winter is coming’.

The seventh and probably the final season of the hugely successful drama will premiere across the world in 2017.
