The last time we saw the beautiful pair on screen was 40 years back. But Robert Redford and Jane Fonda will act together again - that too in a Ritesh Batra film!
The duo will appear in Netflix’s Our Souls at Night, an adaptation of Kent Haruf’s novel of the same name. The project will be helmed by Batra, who won international acclaim with Irrfan Khan-Nimrat Kaur-starrer The Lunchbox. They were last seen together in the 1979 film The Electric Horseman.
Haruf’s novel, which Redford brought to Netflix last year, concerns a man and woman who reconnect after both of their spouses pass away, according to Deadline.
