3. We Are A Lot Stronger Than We Think: Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee Pannu, who plays a bold girl in her upcoming film Pink, seems to have a lot in common with her reel character. She shared in an interview with Deccan Chronicle how being a Delhi girl, she knows about eve-teasing pretty closely.

Taapsee revealed how while shooting once in Delhi, she found a girl being heckled by some men and went on to help her.

Living in Delhi, every girl is eve-teased, mocked or becomes a target to nasty comments by men at some point of her life. I was heading towards my car when I saw few guys passing comments, making weird sounds at a girl who was looking for an auto rickshaw. She was alone. I walked toward the young girl and glared at those guys. I didn’t want to cause an argument with them, so I just gave a stare that said it all, and then I offered her a lift.

The girl, who didn’t recognise the actress, took the lift.

God has made us really strong. We don’t have to worry about our physical strength. We are a lot stronger than we think; we are mentally strong. Fight and get the hurdle out of the way because God would never put you through something you cannot overcome.. It’s basically about you taking charge, so stop shying away and stand up against such things.

The pre-production of Mission: Impossible 6 has come to a halt - thanks to a dispute over its star actor Tom Cruise’s fees. According to Hollywood Reporter, the actor is looking to match or exceed what he is getting paid for The Mummy, which he is currently shooting in London for Universal Studios.

Paramount, co-financing Mission: Impossible 6 with Skydance, was in the prep stages for a January 2017 production start with director Christopher McQuarrie writing the script.

Vivek Oberoi truly has a heart of gold. Quite apart from his considerable charity work projects, the actor is now doing his bit to improve the health of his colleagues - the men and women who work behind the camera to create the magic on screen.

According to DNA, Oberoi organised a full-body check-up for the employees of CINTAA (Cine And Television Artistes’ Association) on Sunday. He conducted the drive with workers from the CPAA (Cancer Patient Aid Association) in Andheri, Mumbai. The camp was attended by more than 350 employees of the two organisations, who underwent a full health check-up.

That’s some great work, Vivek!
