Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Nana Patekar, Shefali Shah and Om Puri will lend their voices to the popular characters of the live-action classic tale. Priyanka will get behind the mic for the serpent character Kaa. In the film’s English version, Kaa has been voiced by Scarlett Johansson. Irrfan Khan will voice Baloo, the friendly grizly bear. Shefali Shah will dub for Raksha the wolf, while Om Puri will be the voice of Bagheera, the black Panther. We also hear that Nana Patekar will voice the dreaded Sher Khan, the tiger.

This was also confirmed by Amrita Pandey, Disney India’s Vice President (Studios).

The Jungle Book is so very special to India, and we want our audience to enjoy Disney’s all-new live-action adaptation. We wanted nothing but the best for the Hindi version of the film. We are so excited to have such veterans and A-list actors come together to voice and bring alive these beloved characters, making it like a high scale hindi film.

On Sunday, actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan pitched for setting up dedicated film archiving facilities in each state, for film students. Haasan, who was a chief guest at the closing certification ceremony of the Film Preservation and Restoration Workshop 2016 at the National Film Archives of India (NFAI) said,

I request (the) government to set up separate film archives in each state, so students who are studying cinema can avail the facility whenever they want. And (can) even access 12,000 films (which) Nair Saab (P K Nair) managed to preserve for us and probably his (Nair’s) dream of having film archives in each metropolis and state might come true.
Kamal Haasan (As reported by PTI)
I would also like to request (Central) government to set up a dedicated institute of film preservation and digitisation in the name of Nair Saab (P K Nair). Few years ago, I and Nair Saab (P K Nair) wanted to set up film archive in Chennai, however, due to some reason it did not happen, but having dedicated archives in each state is plausible mission and that is why I put forth it.
Kamal Hassan said as per a PTI report.

If these publicity stills are anything to go by then we can expect Santa Banta Pvt Ltd to be a rib tickling comedy hitting theatres very soon. Directed by Akashdeep Sabir and produced by Viacom 18, this is the story of two Sikh men, constantly getting into trouble and blaming each other for everything. We’re sure the script will have a ton of Santa-Banta jokes that we’ve grown up with.

Social media is abuzz with rumours of Bipasha Basu and boyfriend Karan Singh Grover’s engagement. But the actress has made everyone’s life easy by taking to Twitter and giving us a clear update.

The actress requested her fans rather calmly on Twitter to not make a big deal out of something so personal, while promising that she’ll announce the big news herself. Karan Singh Grover has been seeking a divorce from his previous marriage and given that tricky situation, Bipasha’s request is more than understandable.
