1. Kangana Ranaut at the Paris Fashion Week
While Priyanka Chopra made international headlines with her American TV debut in Quantico, Kangana Ranaut too was busy making a splash on the international fashion scene. The actress made an appearance at the Dior Autumn/Winter 2015-16 show in Paris recently.
Kangana caught a seat in the front row at the show during the Paris Fashion Week in a classy Dior dress. The Queen actress was spotted with the fashion label’s creative director, Raf Simons, and was joined at the show by designer Manish Malhotra and vice-president (marketing and communications), Christian Dor Couture, India, Kalyani Chawla.
2. Anushka Sharma’s Love Message for Dude
Anushka Sharma who’s currently in Paris shooting for Karan Johar’s Aye Dil Hai Mushkil, did the whole ‘love lock’ thingee, where in you buy a lock and fix it on a bridge or any other public place with a message and throw away the key, so that your love remains ‘locked’ together forever. 3. Arjun Kapoor’s Cool Starry Selfie
Guess who clicked a starry starry selfie recently? None other than Arjun Kapoor. The actor who hosted the Indian Super League (ISL) opener recently also took the opportunity to get a few legends with him in one frame. Apart from Sachin Tendulkar, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth and Nita Ambani, the selfie also had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who danced to Dola Re Dola, and Alia Bhatt who performed to songs like Saturday Saturday and Shaam Shaandaar on the ISL opening night.
4. Strike by Bollywood’s FWICE Called Off
The indefinite strike called by the FWICE (Federation of Wester Indian Cine Employees) was called off on Saturday night itself. According to reports, the decision was taken after producers assured that the demands of the workers would be met as set out in the MOU.
The producers’ body has given everything in writing to us thereby agreeing to satisfy our fundamental demands as mentioned in the MOU. The broadcasters too will be closely involved henceforth and will act as the watchdog facilitating and mediating and doing everything else necessary to get the MOU signed.

The strike which involved several cine workers associations, including writers, cinematographers and other technicians, started on Saturday morning. Several big films including Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale and Aamir Khan’s Dangal, were affected by the strike.

5. Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci Reunite
Robert De Niro has confirmed that he’ll once again be collaborating with actor Joe Pesci and filmmaker Martin Scorsese on the mob drama I Heard You Paint Houses. De Niro and Scorsese have been together on some legendary films like Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Casino. In an exclusive interview to Digital Spy, the actor said,
We are doing it... We should be doing it sometime next year. We’re slowly, slowly getting it in place.
