1. Alia Bhatt Reacts to Working With Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt will be coming together in a film to be directed by Gauri Shinde of English Vinglish fame and here’s how Alia reacted after the announcement was made:
Karan Johar’s tweet on Wednesday evening made public this casting coup of sorts.
What makes the project interesting is of course the unusual casting of a 49-year-old Shah Rukh opposite a 22-year-old Alia Bhatt. Filmmaker Gauri Shinde had earlier hinted at the announcement coming up:
While no details of the project are available yet, buzz is that this might be an older guy, younger girl romantic drama but hopefully different from Gauri’s husband R Balki’s Cheeni Kum with Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu.
2. Shah Rukh and Kajol To Shoot Dilwale Song in Iceland
Trust Rohit Shetty to shoot in the most extravagant way. The filmmaker is leaving no stone unturned for Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s comeback film Dilwale. According to reports, the cast and crew will head to Iceland where they will shoot a love song with Bollywood’s favourite onscreen couple for over 12 days, to be choreographed by Farah Khan. 3. Shyam Benegal Shocked By FTII Students Midnight Arrest
On Tuesday night the Pune police arrested some of the protesting FTII students in Pune and also charged them with rioting. This has shocked filmmaker Shyam Benegal, in an interview to The Indian Express, he said,
This is the worst thing that could have happened. The worst thing. This is something we have been preventing for a long time, even when I was chairman. Twice I was chairman, there were strikes but we never ever even once invited the police into the campus.

4. No Date With Hrithik Lands Coca-Cola in Trouble
Shikha Monga, winner of a Coca-Cola contest which promised her a romantic date with Hrithik Roshan, has moved the Chandigarh district court because she never got to go on a date with him. This contest took place soon after Hrithik’s first film Kaho Na Pyar Hai released way back in 2000. Monga says when she went to claim the prize and get details about her date with the superstar, the manager offered her Rs 5 lakh instead. She has now filed a case and has asked for Rs 2.5 cr damages since the cola giant didn’t stick to their commitment.

5. Amy Becomes Second Highest Grossing Documentary Ever in the UK
Asif Kapadia’s film on Amy Winehouse titled Amy is the highest-grossing British documentary ever. The film’s collections crossed March of the Penguins and now is only behind Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11. After seven weeks at cinemas in the UK, the film has become the second-highest grossing documentary ever in the country.
