Priyanka Chopra is riding high on the success of American TV Series Quantico. And she is also gearing up for her Hollywood debut in Baywatch. She met the media after she came back from the IIFA, where she won the award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Bajirao Mastani.
“It felt very good; I was little surprised but when your work is acknowledged, you feel very good,” she said.
When the actor was quizzed about the third installment of Don, in which she stars alongside Shah Rukh Khan, she said, “The film is not being made now, according to what I know.”
Priyanka also added, “I have been very busy, I have come home for a week and then I’ll go back for Quantico Season 2.”
The director of Don and Don 2, Farhan Akhtar stated in March that he finally had a ‘thought’, which he would be developing as the script of Don 3. But in a later interview, Akhtar candidly confessed that he had “shot himself in the foot” by announcing he would make the film.
Jacqueline Fernandez had also been linked to the project, but recently denied the reports.
Apparently, Shah Rukh’s three films, Priyanka’s stint in Hollywood and Farhan’s prior commitments are making it harder for Don 3 to be made.
