Kabir Bedi took to Twitter lashing back at his daughter Pooja Bedi, for her mean comments towards his newly wedded wife Parveen Dusanj. He said that he was deeply disappointed in his daughter’s behaviour, especially as it came immediately after the happy occasion of his wedding with Dusanj.
Pooja Bedi had referred to her father’s new wife as a ‘wicked witch’ in a tweet. The former model and actress perhaps later realised that she was way out of line and immediately deleted it. But we all know, whatever gets out on the internet, stays on the internet.
Kabir Bedi got hitched to his 10-year-long live-in partner Parveen Dusanj on the eve of his 70th birthday on Friday.
While his son Adam Bedi attended the wedding, Pooja Bedi, who is Kabir’s daughter with his first wife, the late Protima Bedi, gave it a skip. And unlike Pooja, Adam took to Twitter to welcome Parveen into their family.
Pooja later tweeted saying she deleted her tweet calling Parveen “wicked witch / evil step-mother”, because she wants to keep things “positive”.
