All you Game of Thrones fans out there, there’s some good news for you tonight.
Reel life love interests Jon Snow and Ygritte are reportedly a real life couple now!
Yep, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are happily engaged, if People magazine is to be believed. Quoting sources, the magazine on Tuesday confirmed the news.
It was back in 2011 that the two actors began filming scenes together, but it was only in 2016 that they made an appearance as a couple at an award function. It was in an interview a few weeks post this appearance that Harington confessed his feelings for Leslie. The two had moved in together earlier this year.
Talking to James Corden in the Late Late Show this year, Harington said that he was “very very happy”. “I said to her, because she’s moved into my house, ‘Look, darling. It’s important that this is our space, that it feels like our space, that you haven’t just moved into mine. Move anything you want around, change anything, chuck anything out.”
Twitter, of course, went into an overdrive, congratulating the stars, and making jokes with references to GoT.
