This is what happens with some of Bollywood personalities — we learn a tonne from ’em, even when we don’t know it. They are not just actors, who are paid to look glamorous, and sometimes they do end up teaching us a lesson or two about life.
So on Teacher’s Day, let’s go beyond thanking our school, college teachers and thank the celluloid teachers for not just entertaining us but also tutoring us.

Sabr ka phal mitha hota hai. Who better to understand this than Sonakshi Sinha. The young Sinha has finally arrived. Well, according to film critics, at least.
After playing second fiddle to Bhai, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi tries to emulate Uma Thurman from Kill Bill in her latest film Akira but ends up looking more like lady Singham (which isn’t bad for Sonakshi, who makes her debut in a woman-centric film).
Sonakshi’s maad-dhaad, finally brought her celluloid justice, which goes to show that fruit of patience is sweet and in Sonakshi’s case it’s action-packed.

Love her or hate her, but you can’t ignore her. Sunny Leone has been a favourite punching bag for Indians.
The porn star-turned-actor has been criticised for her past profession and her film choices. But Sunny continues to shine despite all the slamming that’s showered upon her.
The woman with a bucketful of oomph will spread her vivacious charm at the New York Fashion Week. Sunny becomes the first Bollywood actor to walk the prestigious ramp and this is her way of shutting up her detractors in style.
