T-Series’ ‘All is Well’ released on Friday.
Not to be fooled by its innocuous name, I suggest you maintain at least an arm’s distance from even the poster of the film.
It is the kind of cinematic endeavor that should best remain in quarantine to safeguard the mental and emotional well being of the general public.
However, it is out for public viewing and that should make you very scared!
All is certainly not well with the director Umesh Shukla.
He is the man who made ‘Oh My God’ and oh my god - just look how the mighty have fallen! Without a speck of sense or sensibility, ‘All is Well’ is clearly in the league of ‘Humshakals’.
It is difficult to decipher what the film is about considering those on screen seemed as clueless as the woebegone audience watching them.
There is the Bhalla family – husband, wife and son played by Rishi Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Abhishek Bachhan respectively.
There is also Nimmi (Asin), who is madly in love with Bhalla ji’s son and unabashedly exhibits her stalker tendencies.
A crazy wig wearing Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub can be seen jumping around town with his set of buffoons.
With no plot, no endearing characters, devoid of an engaging narrative and flat, disastrously unfunny jokes , the film deserves to be resoundingly snubbed.
I kept wishing for the end credits to flash on the big screen and relieve me of my misery.
However, despite my resolve to stay on till the very end, I crumbled under the intense pressure of Sonakshi Sinha’s painful item song. Yours truly fled for her life during the interval!
Why would stars like Rishi Kapoor, Abhishek Bachhan and actors of the caliber of Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Supriya Pathak agree to be part of this horrendous affair?
Is it possible they all woke up on the wrong side of the bed and underestimated the stupidity of the film.
Well whatever be the case I suggest you stay put in bed if need be than step out and torture yourself with All is (not) Well. I will give it nothing but 0 QUINTS!
