Megastar Chiranjeevi’s five-minute cameo in his son Ram Charan’s latest film Bruce Lee: The Fighter, which releases in cinemas worldwide this week, has already attracted lot of attention. In his comeback role after 8 long years, the 60 year old superstar will come to his son’s rescue in an action sequence, on a horse. According to a source from the film’s unit, Chiranjeevi plays himself, a film star, in this action flick and Ram Charan is playing the part of a stuntman.
This scene involves horses. I asked dad to use the horse I was familiar with and suggested that it’d be easy for him. But he chose a wild horse and even though I was very concerned about his safety, he pulled it off with ease, much to the surprise of everybody on the sets.

This scene comes towards the end of the film. According to Chiranjeevi, it will be like the perfect dessert after a good meal.
For Ram, working alongside his father, meant the world to him.
It was a surreal experience. When dad arrived on the sets and joined me for the shot, nothing else in the world could’ve made that moment more exciting.
– Ram Charan
The actor also said that his mother was in tears when she saw Chiranjeevi don the greasepaint again after so many years.
Chiranjeevi will soon star in his highly anticipated 150th film and his son will bankroll this project.
We have scripts ready for his 151st and 152nd film but it’s with his 150th project that we’re facing some issues. Soon, we will officially announce details regarding dad’s next project. It’s taking time, but I’m sure it will be worth the wait. – Ram Charan
