Siddhant Chaturvedi has been hanging out with Chris Hemsworth, best known for his role as Marvel superhero Thor. The Gully Boy actor posted a gleeful selfie with the Avengers star on Instagram, captioning it, “Am I worthy?” in reference to his iconic character.
The two bonded at an event for upcoming Hollywood flick Men In Black: International in Bali, Indonesia. The film introduces two new characters, played by Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, to the popular franchise. Siddhant has dubbed for Chris’ character in the Hindi version of the film and Sanya Malhotra has voiced Tessa Thompson’s role.
“It was quite overwhelming to dub for Hemsworth's character. He has got a great voice and to make up for that was a tough challenge. But I have added an Indian touch to it for the Indian audience. It will be a fun film," he told IANS.
“It (Men in Black) is one of the coolest franchises. It has action and comedy it is one of my favourite franchises. And Hemsworth is in it... It has become more grand. Dubbing for it has been an amazing experience,” he added.
Speaking about the reboot of the beloved franchise, which starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, Chris Hemsworth said, “I love the original franchise. This is an opportunity to continue on that legacy and build something fun and entertaining.”
Men in Black International has been directed by F Gary Gray and will be in theatres on 14 June.
