Ashutosh Gowarikar’s upcoming period drama Panipat recently went on floors and actor Arjun Kapoor, who is starring in the film, seems to be prepping in full form. He recently took to social media to share photos of himself and it seems like the Indias Most Wanted actor is really getting into shape for this won.

Arjun Kapoor wrote on Instagram, “Warrior mode on !!! #Panipat”. He shared two photos of himself flexing in the gym - one in black and white and another in colour. Take a look:

“Forever 21”, commented Ananya Panday on the photo while Anil Kapoor said “phenomenal chachu”.

His girlfriend, Malaika Arora, too posted a few emojis to convey that Arjun Kapoor was truly slaying it.

Arjun Kapoor will be playing the lead in Panipat. In November 2018, Arjun took to Twitter to announce that the work on Panipat had officially begun. Here’s what he wrote: “Embarking on a journey like never before... with Ashu sir & our entire team. #Panipat #PanipatShootBeginsToday”

The film also stars Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. Panipat tells the story of the historic Third Battle of Panipat, which was fought between the Marathas and Afghan ruler Ahmad Shah Abdali’s invading army. Reportedly, Arjun Kapoor will be playing the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau who served as the commander of the Maratha army during the battle.

Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of Ahmad Shah Abdali. Mohnish Bahl will be seen as Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao; and Kunal Kapoor as Shujaud-Daula, the Subedar Nawab of Oudh.

Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Indias Most Wanted, which was inspired by a true story. In the film, Arjun plays the role of Prabhat who is out to catch the most dreaded terrorist referred to as ‘India’s Osama’. Prabhat is supported by a team of 5 ordinary people referred to as ‘Unlikely heroes’. The film is written, directed and co-produced by Raj Kumar Gupta of Raid and No One Killed Jessica fame.
