Deepika & Ranveer May Ban Mobile Phones at Their Italian Wedding

According to what sources revealed to Filmfare, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to tie the knot on 20 November in Lake Como, Italy. Actor and director, Kabir Khan unwittingly confirmed their wedding with his congratulatory tweet.

Deepika & Ranveer are reportedly aiming for an intimate wedding with a slim guest list comprising about 30 guests in their favourite location, Italy. The couple is apparently intent on keeping it a discreet affair. Sources have divulged an intriguing detail about the wedding to DNA.

“They have asked guests to not bring their cell phones to the ceremony. Considering the fact that it will be a destination wedding, there will be fewer people and all the arrangements will be in place. While the two, in all likelihood, will share pictures with their fans eventually, they hope this step will help them guard their privacy,” revealed the sources. 

Many private moments from Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding as well as Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding made their way to social media platforms, thanks to the usage of phone cameras. Deepika & Ranveer may be looking at avoiding the over-exposure. They are ostensibly urging their guests to be ‘in the moment’ on their special day.
