The popular television dance reality show Nach Baliye is all set to make a comeback with fresh jodis. Nach Baliye has been known for bringing celeb couples together and celebrating the spirit of partnership through dance. Whilst Sonakshi Sinha, Terence Lewis and Mohit Suri are all set to judge the show, here are the couples who you will be seeing dancing and glorifying love on the show.
1. Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya
Whilst their love story began in August 2015 when they met through a common friend, Divyanka and Vivek later began shooting for Ye Hai Mohabbatein. This is where things got deeper and finally the couple got married in July 2016. Their chemistry is infectious and both of them look great on the show which leaves us with no doubt that this jodi is worth looking forward to.
2. Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbacheye
A writer and a comedian respectively, Harsh Limbacheye and Bharti Singh met on the sets of Sony’s Comedy Circus. Harsh is younger to Bharti and both of them work for Life OK’s Comedy Classes and Colors’ Comedy Nights Bachao. In other news, it’s now also being speculated that they are the highest paid couple on the show.
3. Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal
After having met on the sets of the show Miley Jab Hum Tum, their love story is one of TV’s favorites. As their onscreen jodi extended into a beautiful off-screen connection, they both dated for several years before entering marital bliss on 25th January last year. Fans are surely rejoicing this jodi’s entry on the show after having waited all these years to see them together.
4. Pritam and Amanjot Singh
Popular radio jockey, Pritam was the first guy Amanjot met in Mumbai, whilst working together for a play. The couple was dating for almost two years after which they parted ways but got back again. This time, they got married in 2011.
5. Dipika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim
The couple met on the sets of their show Sasural Simar Ka and later started dating. The actress is a famous household name and has even claimed that they will be marrying this year. It will be interesting to see her revive her passion for dance with Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8. Hopefully with her love alongside, she will be better this time.
6. Siddharth and Trupti Jadhav
Well-known comedian Siddharth Jadhav met his Marathi mulgi, Trupti during his struggling days. She was working with a leading news channel back then and he would follow her on the local trains. This couple seems like a breath of fresh air and we can already see a riot of laughter on the show with Siddharth’s jokes.
7. Utkarsha Naik and Manoj Verma
Last seen in Colors’ popular TV Show Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Utkarsha Naik was well known for her role as Amba. She is all set to feature as a contestant along with husband Manoj Verma, who is an actor, director and head of the famous theatre company, Ambrosia Theatre Group. After 20 years of togetherness, the couple will be seen celebrating love and companionship.
8. Sanam Johar and Abigail Pandey
After dating for two years, Abigail Pandey of Humse Hai Life fame and Sanam Johar who first appeared as a contestant on Dance India Dance and later as a choreographer on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa decided to join the Nach brigade. With so much cuteness on their faces and Sanam’s ace moves, this couple will surely bring some vivacious vibe to the show.
9. Aashka Goradia and Brent Goble
Actress Aashka Goradia began dating American Brent Goble post her break-up with long term boyfriend, Rohit Bakshi. Goble and Goradia met at an event in the US and the weapons instructor and range safety officer from Las Vegas had the actress wooed completely. Who wouldn’t want some foreign element to spice up the show?
10. Monalisa Antara and Vikrant Singh
Amidst tasks and controversies galore, Monalisa and Vikrant got into wedlock on Colors’ popular reality show, Bigg Boss 10.
