A man who had allegedly threatened an employee of Salman Khan, has been arrested in Allahabad. Identified as Shera, he called the actor’s aide when he was in Mumbai and asked for Salman’s number. The employee refused and a heated argument followed.
According to Times of India, three days later, the employee lodged a criminal complaint at the Bandra police station in Mumbai saying Shera had threatened him with dire consequences if he didn’t share Salman’s number.
Tracing his SIM card to Allahabad, the police found that Shera is a history-sheeter, who had been living in Bandra for a while. The police team nabbed him from the Kareli locality of Allahabad on Friday, 16 November. Sources told the Times of India that the motive behind the threats would be discovered once the police team reached Mumbai with Shera and interrogated him.
Shera has been charged with section 506 of the Indian Penal Code which deals with criminal intimidation.
