Months after lying low following neuroendocrine tumour diagnosis and treatment, Irrfan Khan was spotted in Mumbai recently. It was actually a picture of him exiting producer Dinesh Vijan’s house that sparked rumours.
Now Irrfan Khan, who is in Rajasthan for some personal work, is all set to start shooting for Hindi Medium 2 next week, with Radhika Madan joining the cast as his daughter, Mumbai Mirror reported.
“Though Irrfan and Radhika started preparations a while back, we will start shooting for the first schedule in Rajasthan. It is an important part of the film, after which they will head off abroad. Initially, the US had been chosen as the preferred location, but we have shifted our base to London after a recce,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Irrfan Khan had also penned an emotional note thanking his fans for their love and support. “ Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support.
"It soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart," Irrfan wrote with a photograph in which he reflects joy,” he had written.
