Irrfan Khan has shared a heartfelt message for his fans following his return to India after a stint in London where he has been undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumour.
“Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart,” he wrote.
Irrfan Khan was recently spotted at Mumbai airport and will reportedly be working on the sequel to his 2017 comedy Hindi Medium.

While there has been no official announcement yet, word is Kareena Kapoor will co-star with Irrfan in Hindi Medium 2. News agency IANS has quoted a source as saying, “She is playing the lead role in the film and might turn into cop mode for it.” Producer Dinesh Vijan has also confirmed that Pakistani actor Saba Qamar, who played Irrfan’s wife in the first film, would not feature in the sequel owing to the ban on Pakistani artistes that was called for by the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) after the deadly Pulwama terrorist attack in February.
