He is the papa of the year, and Karan Johar is enjoying every bit of being a parent to his twins, Yash and Roohi. In an interview to Bombay Times ahead of Father’s Day, he spoke about how he has evolved into “a caretaker, caterer and housekeeper” and how he is looking to put the children in the Dharma Productions creche after a few months.
KJo also spoke about how every person adapts to parenthood in their own way and that it’s important to listen to all advice, but do you own thing. “You have to find your feet”, he says.
Karan shared how he is connecting with his babies through a lot of “strong conversation” while even ruining any possible musical talent with his “besura” songs. He emphasised that deciding to have children was a gigantic responsibility, and one had to be emotionally ready for it. It’s “beautifully overwhelming”, says the filmmaker.
He is also eager that “didi” Alia Bhatt and “chachus” Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra form a strong bond with his children, so they know they are “related to a lot of people in the industry”.
