Taimur. Misha. Aaradhya. Ever wondered what the names of these famous Bollywood babies mean?
The name Misha is a mixture of the initials of her parents’ names - Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor; and Adira’s name comes from the initials of Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji.
Taimur, however, is NOT named after Timur, the historic invader. In fact, it really means ‘iron’, which is symbolic of strength, and that is probably why Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan named him that. The controversy that surrounded this toddler’s name blew to unimaginable proportions, where certain political groups even started to wish death upon the child.
Shah Rukh Khan’s youngest is named AbRam, and that is a variation of the Prophet Abraham’s name. King Khan surely has been inspired by it. His other two kids are called Aryan and Suhana.
Aaradhya Rai Bachchan’s name means the ‘first one’ and ‘worth worshipping’. The first-born of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan is certainly much adored by her family.
The Roshan Boys, apple of papa Hrithik and mamma Suzanne’s eyes, are named Hridhaan and Hrehaan. Hridhaan means ‘big heart’, while Hrehaan is ‘God’s chosen one’.
Imara Malik Khan stands ‘strong and resolute’ with her parents Imraan Khan and Avantika Malik. Viaan is an ‘embodiment of zest and life’, just like his mother Shilpa Shetty and father Raj Kundra.
