With back-to-back box office hits, Akshay Kumar has been having the time of his life. His latest film, Kesari, was very well received by the masses. But with fame comes different speculations too. After rumours about Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan joining Bollywood spread like wildfire, there were similar talks about Akshay’s son Aarav too. However, the actor put all speculations to rest in a recent interview to Hindustan Times.
When asked whether his son Aarav will follow in his father’s footsteps, Akshay said, “He is just a 16-year-old kid who is enjoying his life. There is no need to put pressure on him by discussing his career.” He added that kids feel the pressure only if their parents keep nagging them, and Akshay does not want to be one of those parents.

The actor, who completed 28 years in the industry, told Hindustan Times how his father never put any pressure on him. “ My dad always said that if you’re interested in sports and karate; and want to be like Bruce Lee, go for it. But become at least half of Lee.’
About his kids Nitara and Aarav having a comfortable life, Akshay said that every parent tries to ensure that his/her kids’ lives become easy, but they cannot shadow their kids all the time. The kids have to pave their own way.
