Shah Rukh Khan was last seen on the big screen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. Since then speculations were rife as to what his next project will be. Now, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, the superstar has finalised his next project, a big budget comic-action thriller directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.

A source close to the development told the publication that the directors had narrated the script to Shah Rukh some time back and he loved it. “The action film will be replete with Raj and DK’s quirky humour. The yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors next year and this is a space that SRK hasn’t explored yet.”

2. Taapsee Confirms Mithali Raj’s Biopic on Former Captain’s B’Day

Taapsee Pannu has always impressed us with her unconventional roles. She was last seen essaying the role of sharpshooter Prakashi Tomar in Saand Ki Aankh. Now, the actor has already announced her next project, that too on a special day. On former India women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj’s birthday, Taapsee took to social media to share a few photographs with Raj. She also wrote a heartfelt message declaring that she will play the role of the cricketer in her upcoming biopic titled Shabaash Mithu.

3. Watch: ‘Sauda Khara Khara’ Is the Remix We Were All Looking For

After ‘Chandigarh Mein’, the makers of Good Newwz have released another song from the album, ‘Sauda Khara Khara.’ Singer Sukhbir recreates his 90’s hit song with this one, and is sure to get your foot tapping. Starring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, the song has been additionally sung by Diljit and Dhvani Bhanushali.

Set in a wedding setup, the track starts with Kiara and Diljit matching steps, in full ‘Bhangra’ mood. It also features Sukhbir singing his original hook line and Akshay in a cameo. The track is an out and out wedding dance number, and hasn’t compromised on the vibe of the original song.

Himesh Reshammiya has replaced music composer Anu Malik as a judge on Indian Idol 11. The ‘Tera Suroor’ singer said he was pleased to step into the role. “I was a part of Superstar Singer and now my journey continues on Indian Idol 11. Indian Idol is not only one of India's longest running singing reality shows but also one of the most iconic one! I am extremely elated to be on the judges panel. From here on the responsibility only increases two fold. I have been following this season and I must say that this year has seen phenomenal singers come forward, who I am sure will create ripples in the Indian music industry,” he said in a statement.

5. ‘Black Widow’ Teaser: Johansson Returns for First Solo MCU Film

Marvel has unveiled the first look of Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow with a teaser trailer. The Cate Shorthand directorial puts the spotlight on the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Russian assassin Natasha Romanoff, and is set during the period in between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Black Widow releases in India on 30 April 2020, a day ahead of the USA. It will be released in six languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
