Anushka and Virat chased away our pesky Monday blues when they shared their ‘awe-dorable’ wedding photograph on Twitter.
Finally, Indians too got their desi version of Victoria and David Beckham – a glamorous and power packed love story. Just like the former England football Captain David Beckham and the singer-cum-fashion designer Victoria Adams (Beckham), the captain of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli and the actor-cum-producer-cum-entrepreneur Anushka Sharma makes us ask the same question – lucky who – Virat or Anushka?
I say, both!
The two compliment each other like burger and French fries. Both have conquered all odds and single-handedly achieved success. Sharma ji ki beti is a successful commercial actor who has also produced critically acclaimed alternative cinema. She has extensively spoken up for equality in income and gender equal films.
Delhi da munda became a pioneer of a new form of aggression, attitude, and record-breaking performance on field. Kohli appealed for pay rise for his teammates, and also slammed BCCI’s South Africa tour planning. #Howzat
Let us not forget, the two are our favourite baratis, who’ve given us many relationship goals, and will now probably give us marriage goals too.
But it’s not about who is lucky, it’s about what makes ’em lucky. The two have had each other’s back for aeons now. Anushka was by his side when Virat was announced the Test Captain of Team India. His lady luck has even cheered for him from the stands and even taught him tehzeeb.
Meanwhile, Virat leaves no opportunity to encourage Anushka on her work. The cricketer also hits hard at all the trolls who’ve hurled abuses at Anushka every time he failed to score. #RabNeBanaDiJodi
