1. ‘Tanhaji’ First Look: Ajay & Saif up in Arms Against Each Other

The first look poster of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was finally released by the makers and it shows Ajay Devgn looking majestic and fierce, donning a red turban and holding a sword. In the foreground, a war is waging between two armies and a fort is shown. The film starring Ajay, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan is directed by Om Raut.

Sharing the poster on Twitter, Ajay wrote, “Mind that was as sharp as a sword... #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior, in cinemas 10th January 2020.”

2. ‘War’ Hits the Rs 300 Crores Mark as Highest BO Grosser of 2019

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s latest action thriller War has had a roaring run at the box office since it hit theatres on 2 October. The film has now hit the triple century by crossing Rs 300 crore on Day 19 of its release. Earlier this week, War surpassed the lifetime business of Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh (Rs 276.34 crore) to become the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2019. It has also crossed the lifetime business of Vicky Kaushal’s Uri.

3. SRK & Gauri, Salman, Bachchans Vote in Mumbai

On 21 October, polling began for Maharashtra as well as Haryana Assembly elections. Polling began at 7 am in Maharashtra. As expected, Mumbai’s film fraternity stepped out with full enthusiasm to exercise its right to vote.

Filmmakers Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan and Kunal Kohli were some of the first celebrities to step out and cast their votes in the city. Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi were also spotted. Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) chairperson Prasoon Joshi also took to Twitter to share a photo of his inked finger. Later in the day, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman, Anushka Sharma, Kareena and Arjun Kapoor were also seen at polling centres.

4. Akshay, Riteish, Bobby & Others Travel Back in Time in ‘Chammo’

Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his big Diwali release, Housefull 4. Now, the makers have dropped the latest song from the film, Chammo. The song is set in the 15th century and stars the entire cast - Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunky Panday. While the men are dressed in kurtas, the women dazzle in elaborate lehengas.

5. Rajamouli’s Baahubali Gets Standing Ovation at Royal Albert Hall

A proud moment for not just team Baahubali but for India as well, as the film got a standing ovation at Royal Albert Hall in London. Baahubali - The Beginning is the only non-English film to be screened at the Royal Albert Hall in London ever since its inauguration 148 years ago. Post the screening the audience gave the film a standing ovation.

The Baahubali team comprising of SS Rajamouli, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Dagubati and producer Shobhu Yarlagadda had a reunion in London for this grand event.
